The team owners, Mr. & Mrs. Frank McCourt wrecked the team’s finances and almost destroyed the team fighting over their own personal divorce. In 2017, Pres Trump appointed Mrs. Jaimie McCourt as U.S. ambassador to Belgium. The Dodgers have been doing quite well without them.
